Role Overview
We are seeking a candidate to fill a meaningful retail role. The ideal candidate will assist customers with shoe fitting, host visitors and provide exceptional customer service.
The successful applicant will have the opportunity to learn about professional shoe fitting, including the importance of proper footwear for medical conditions and disabilities. Our shop is committed to making professionally fitted medical footwear accessible and affordable to anyone who needs it.
This role requires a hands-on person who believes in good old kampung values and is willing to learn on the job. If you enjoy meeting people and have empathy for others, we encourage you to apply.
The ideal candidate will be fluent in English and have good communication skills. Additional spoken languages such as Mandarin, Bahasa Melayu, and dialects would be an added advantage.
As part of our team, you will receive on-the-job training and support to help you grow in your role. We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, including commission after probation period.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist shoe fitting team with serving customers
- Host visitors and kakis:
- Provide customer service: Answering phone, attending WhatsApp messages, fulfilling orders, etc.
- Simple inventory management: Restocking shelves, counting stocks, requesting stock transfers, etc.
- Basic housekeeping: Cleaning and sanitizing footwear, daily tidying up, TLC for cats and dogs in our windows.
Requirements:
- Must be fluent in English;
- Additional spoken languages like Mandarin, Bahasa Melayu, and dialects are useful;
- No experience necessary; we welcome applicants from all backgrounds;
- Hands-on person with good old kampung values;
- Willing to learn on the job and grow with our team;
- Empathy for others and a genuine interest in making life easier for people with painful medical conditions or disabilities;
