We are seeking a dynamic Rewards Professional to lead the Group Total Rewards team to design, implement, and manage changes to the Total Rewards Strategy across the Group. This includes compensation, benefits, long-term incentives plans, and global mobility programs that attract, motivate, and retain top talent.

The incumbent is also responsible for driving the harmonisation of total rewards policies across various member companies and regions to ensure consistency, equity, and alignment with the Group's global business objectives.

Reporting to the Chief People & Culture (P&C) Officer, you will lead a small team in the review and design of end-to-end Total Rewards programs, working closely with senior leadership teams, P&C Business Partners, and other P&C Specialist Functions.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Total Rewards Advisory: As a subject matter expert, foster relationships and collaboration with senior leaders and cross-functional teams to provide analytics, insights, and make recommendations and solutions to complex and diverse rewards issues.
  2. Market Trends: Manage survey participations and monitor market and legislative changes, conduct impact analysis and internal audits to ensure the total rewards practices are compliant with statutory requirements and competitive in the market.
  3. Compensation Cycle: Work with P&C Business Partners to plan and manage the execution of the global compensation cycles, which includes budgeting and accrual, pay position analysis, cycle template/HRIS setup, reporting, and obtaining relevant approval on annual increment and variable bonus, new grant, and vesting for incentive.
  4. Executive Compensation: Develop and refine the compensation planning templates and simulations to support compensation package and incentive plan designs; prepare reporting, communication materials, and facilitate discussions with internal and external auditors and the Remuneration Committee.
  5. Employee Benefits: Partner with vendors, Group Insurance, and P&C Business Partners for employee insurance renewal to optimise cost, seek opportunities for benefit pooling, improve operational efficiency, and enhance employee experience.
  6. Transformation and Harmonisation: Lead harmonisation of job evaluation and job grading structure, total rewards philosophy, and framework design, ensuring alignment across various member companies while accommodating local regulations, business needs, and cultural and market nuances.
  7. Global Mobility: Review and recommend global mobility practices/policies across the Group; work with respective country P&C Business Partners to manage the global mobility program.
  8. Change Management: Design toolkit and communication deck, provide guidance and coaching to P&C Business Partners and Business Leaders across the Group regarding changes in Total Rewards-related topics.

Job Requirements

  • Education Qualification: Degree in HR, Finance, Business Management, and Statistics preferred.
  • Relevant Experience: 15+ years of specialist experience in Compensation and Benefits or Total Rewards (consulting and in-house), with at least 5 years in a regional or global leadership role within a multi-national company, including experience in global mobility and harmonisation of policies.
  • In-depth knowledge of job evaluation, market benchmarking, employee benefits, global mobility, and C&B analytics.
  • Strong analytical and numeric proficiency is required. This includes attention to detail, meticulousness, and the ability to draw insights from data and information.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential to guide and influence all levels of stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to organise multiple projects, adapt quickly to changes, and persevere to meet objectives in a highly matrixed environment.
  • Experience in the Engineering and/or Built Environment industry with global/regional experience, or Rewards Consulting will be an advantage.

Professional Accreditations

CIPD, GRP, CECP will be an advantage.

Tools / Software Skills

MS Office applications; Advanced Excel; experience in Workday Advanced Compensation is an advantage.
