Key Responsibilities

Our team is seeking a skilled professional to collect and analyze storage log information, ensuring optimal system performance.

We need someone who can review provisioning configurations, providing recommendations for improvement based on customer requirements.

The ideal candidate will test and verify configuration changes, new patches, or software releases to ensure seamless integration.

They will manage change requests through planning, approval, and implementation.

Regular operational reports will be generated using customer-supplied tools to track system performance.

Capacity measurement and forecasting will also be handled by this role, focusing on optimizing storage utilization.

The successful candidate must identify and address vulnerabilities in Huawei storage hardware and software products.

They will develop detailed technical plans for future initiatives to enhance system capabilities.

Our team looks for individuals who can provide actionable recommendations to customers on areas for significant improvement.

Foster customer understanding and knowledge of storage solutions to maximize benefits from product features and functionality.

Train customer staff on efficient methods for utilizing solution capabilities.

Regular review meetings with customers will be conducted to discuss engagement status, issues, new requirements, and overall satisfaction.

Coordination of changes to the Statement of Work with customers as needed will be required.

Participation in Root Cause Analysis reviews when applicable will also be expected.

A smooth handover of responsibilities to customers at the conclusion of the engagement is necessary.

Requirements

Candidates must have:

At least 10 years of experience in IT storage environments.

Familiarity with storage environments and hands-on experience with storage configuration and data migration.

Understanding of technical principles related to disaster recovery, backup solutions, and data migration.

Daily monitoring and incident/issue support skills.

Basics in OS concepts for Windows, Linux, and Unix systems administration (Ubuntu, CentOS, Red Hat, Solaris, AIX).

Excellent English oral and written communication skills.

Strong customer focus and multitasking abilities.
