This role offers the opportunity to work closely with senior management and shape the company's credit risk culture.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the end-to-end credit risk function across all loan products
  • Develop risk scoring models and credit approval criteria
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to balance risk appetite with business growth
  • Perform stress testing and scenario analysis across loan segments
  • Provide recommendations to management on risk mitigation and loan structuring
  • Stay up-to-date on macroeconomic and sectoral risk indicators
  • Review and enhance risk policies, controls, and internal audit alignment

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of credit risk experience in a financial institution
  • Proven ability to drive policy changes and risk-related strategies
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Prior experience in SME lending or unsecured loans preferred
