The Worldwide Specialist Organization (WWSO) is part of AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS), which is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers, including public sector. We work backwards from our customers' most complex, business-critical problems to build and execute go-to-market plans that turn AWS ideas into multi-billion-dollar businesses. WWSO teams include technical business development, specialist, and technical solutions architecture. As part of WWSO, you'll provide expertise across the entire customer life cycle, from accelerating the adoption of established businesses to developing ideas for new services. Join the Worldwide Specialist Organization (WWSO) Data and AI APJ GTM team as a Sr. Manager of Specialist Solutions Architects for Data and AI in ASEAN
Key job responsibilities:
Manage a team of Specialist SAs for Data and AI
Interact at the CxO/VP level, as well as developers and technical architects, to develop pipeline, secure lighthouse customers, drive top-line-revenue, and explore strategic partnerships.
Develop and deploy sales motions and programs that leverage Field Sales teams, as well as technology and consulting partner channels.
Collaborate with the Service and Technical teams to create solutions that solve customer problems, including reference architectures, patterns, automation, release plan.
Collaborate with Marketing to develop and align digital marketing campaigns to drive awareness and demand.
Technical Thought Leadership
Hire, on-board, train, and develop new Specialist Solution Architects
Educate customers on the value proposition of AWS, and participate in architectural discussions to ensure solutions are designed for successful deployment in the cloud
Guide your team to find ways to scale tech knowledge via products, programs, and the AWS Field
Capture and share best-practice knowledge amongst the AWS SA community
Guide and motivate the development of whitepapers, datasheets, and other high-value customer facing guidance and best practices
Become a trusted advisor within customer accounts to enable them to be 'Cloud advocates'
Act as a conduit and liaison between customers, service engineering teams and support
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • 10+ years design/implementation/consulting experience of distributed applications
  • 7+ years management of technical, customer facing resources
  • 7+ years of technical experience in Data and AI

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • History of successful technical consulting and/or architecture engagements with large-scale customers or enterprises.
  • Experience migrating or transforming legacy customer solutions to the cloud.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with a high degree of comfort speaking with executives, IT Management, and developers.
  • Familiarity with common enterprise services and working knowledge of software development tools and methodologies
  • AWS Solution Architecture certification or relevant cloud expertise.
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt to new technologies and learn quickly.
  • Computer Science /relevant degree and/or experience highly desired.
