The Valuation team combines technical expertise with a pragmatic approach to deliver support during the financial reporting process, transactions, restructuring and disputes. Led by experienced professionals, the Valuations team creates value tailored to client needs.

As a small team, it can be agile and adaptable to market developments. The team's open and non-hierarchical culture nurtures members to speak freely. They share clarifications for projects or career aspirations, building up team members to gain experience and skills for their career trajectory.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in preparing proposals for internal and external clients
  • Perform valuations of businesses, intellectual property, financial instruments, etc., for financial reporting, mergers & acquisitions, dispute resolution, restructuring, and litigation support
  • Conduct market and industry research
  • Participate in meetings with internal and external clients together with manager and partner
  • Develop financial models and assist in financial modelling or financial model review assignments
  • Prepare comprehensive valuation reports, presentation decks and review memos meeting requirements of both internal and external clients
  • Support business development activities
  • Complete other ad-hoc tasks as required

Qualifications and Skills

  • Recognised Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related fields or equivalent professional qualifications
  • Demonstrated basic accounting knowledge and understanding of financial statements
  • Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Strong interest in field of valuation
  • A strong work ethic and ability to adapt to new challenges in a collaborative team environment
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to prioritise shifting workloads
