Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform comprehensive Electrical Failure Analysis (EFA) and Fault Isolation to identify root causes.
  • Operate sophisticated tools such as Hamamatsu iPHEMOS, Thermo Fisher ELITE, and other photon, thermal, or laser stimulating emission tools to characterize failure signatures.
  • Develop a deep understanding of physical and logical semi-conductor design principles to inform fault isolation and fail signature modeling.
  • Utilize layout/schematic analysis to aid in fault isolation and fail signature modeling.
  • Understand various Physical Failure Analysis (PFA) and de-processing techniques for failures.
  • Gain insight into Fabrication Process and Package Assembly.
  • Develop an in-depth understanding of process fabrication levels, steps, and methodologies.
  • Provide clear and comprehensive fail signature information.
  • Generate organized and timely failure analysis reports with clearly communicated causes and effects.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or advanced degree in Electrical Engineering with a preference for Microelectronics or Circuit Design.
  • Strong analytical, logical, and critical thinking skills.
  • Effective communication and collaboration across all levels.
  • A growth mindset with a passion for continuous learning.
  • Internship or experience in the semiconductor industry is advantageous.
  • Demonstrated leadership and a track record of impact are highly desirable.
  • Interest in and knowledge of the semiconductor industry is preferred.
