Overview MANDARIN TEACHER SECONDARY SCHOOL (DETACHE CONTRACT) at International French School (Singapore). Responsibilities Teaching Mandarin language in Middle and High School Designing and implementing learning or teaching situations based on French programs and standards Convey subject knowledge Designing and implementing methods of assessment of students’ learnings, in liaison with other teachers or professional partners Ensuring that students acquire skills including capability, good behaviour, and know-how, among others Leading the class and foster students’ interest and participation Providing personalised monitoring of students by working closely with their family and participate in their educational project Contributing to the school's operation and teamwork Adapting teaching to the diversity of students by providing each of them with the necessary support, and assess their achievements Using educational software to support learning Exercising specific functions such as coordination, form teacher and others Skills, abilities and required qualifications French Ministry of Education degree holder or equivalent Deep understanding of the subject and the curriculum Experience in teaching in Middle and High school is preferable Knowledge of the French curriculum Organisational and interpersonal skills Responsiveness and availability Adaptability and benevolence Very good writing and speaking skills Strong teamwork skills and committed to making projects successful Experience as a Form teacher and coordination for the students career orientation plan would be strong benefit Good knowledge of educational software Ability to adapt to French-speaking and non-French-speaking students Ability to provide instructions suited to a wide variety of students Ability to work in a transversal and multidisciplinary way Proficiency in English (B1 level and above) is a plus Working conditions Full time (18 hours/week) - 1 position SV (potentially vacant)Remuneration will be based on company salary scale Starting date: end of August 2026Application notes To ensure your application is considered, please complete and attach to your application the application file which you can find enclosed here or on the AEFE website under the section "personnels / recrutement des detaches sur missions d’enseignement, d’éducation et d’administration / conditions et modalités de candidature"Equal opportunity statement At the International French School, we are committed to fostering an inclusive and diverse workplace where all employees are valued, respected, and empowered.
