Job Summary:
The Social Media Executive is responsible for managing and executing social media strategies to enhance brand presence, engage audiences, and drive business growth. This role involves creating high-quality content, managing social media accounts, collaborating with influencers, analysing performance metrics, and conducting competitor analysis. The ideal candidate will work closely with clients to ensure content aligns with their brand philosophy and marketing goals, fostering a collaborative environment that prioritises client satisfaction and innovative digital storytelling.
Key Responsibilities:
Content Creation:
Develop compelling and creative social media content, including text, images, videos, and graphics.
Ensure all content aligns with brand guidelines and reflects the company's voice and values.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and incorporate relevant elements into content creation.
Social Media Management:
Manage and maintain social media accounts across various platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, TikTok).
Schedule and publish posts to ensure consistent and timely content delivery.
Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and mentions to engage with the audience and address inquiries or concerns.
Audience Growth and Engagement:
Implement strategies to increase the number of followers, likes, and shares.
Foster a sense of community by actively engaging with followers and influencers.
Analyse and leverage social media analytics to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
Social Media Advertising:
Plan and execute paid social media advertising campaigns to boost reach and conversions.
Monitor ad performance and optimize campaigns for maximum ROI.
Social Media Calendar and Reporting:
Create and maintain a content calendar to ensure a consistent posting schedule.
Prepare regular reports on key social media metrics, such as reach, engagement, and conversion rates.
Present findings and insights to management for strategy refinement.
Collaboration:
Coordinate with marketing, design, and content teams to align social media efforts with overall marketing initiatives.
Collaborate with influencers and brand advocates to amplify brand messaging.
Crisis Management:
Respond promptly and professionally to any negative feedback or crisis situations on social media.
Social Media Trends and Platform Updates:
Stay informed about the latest social media trends, algorithm changes, and platform updates.
Identify opportunities to leverage new features and functionalities for improved performance.
Compliance and Policies:
Ensure social media activities adhere to legal guidelines and company policies.
Budget Management:
Assist in managing the social media budget, tracking expenses, and optimizing spending.
Qualifications:
Minimum of years of experience in a related industry.
Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
Proven experience in social media management and content creation.
Strong understanding of various social media platforms and their best practices.
Familiarity with social media analytics tools.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
