Job Title: Technical Infrastructure Lead

We are seeking a seasoned Technical Infrastructure Lead to spearhead the migration of our clients' current platforms to the Government Commercial Cloud (GCC) platform.

This is a key role that requires a deep understanding of business needs and IT system migration work-plans. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the preparation and execution of migrating clients' current platforms to the GCC platform.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Analyzing business problems and providing solutions for current Hadoop and future Cloud (AWS) platforms.
  • Developing IT system migration work-plans that meet business needs.
  • Contributing to the planning of application/infrastructure releases and configuration changes.
  • Managing tasks and leading junior members of the team.
  • Designing metrics for reporting on key performance and quality indicators.
  • Liaising with various functions to ensure smooth implementation.

Requirements:

  • A Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or related disciplines.
  • At least 10 years of overall IT experience in large-scale applications, including migration projects.
  • Experience in Business Intelligence, Data Warehousing, or Hadoop/Big Data application projects.
  • Hands-on experience in Informatica product suite and Databricks tools preferred.
  • IT project management and process flow experience.
  • Understanding of hardware and software application structure and configuration methodologies.
  • Ability to bridge business and engineering teams and link business needs to suitable IT solutions.
  • Able to motivate teams in challenging situations.
  • Prior knowledge in healthcare is preferred.
