Singapore Chinese Development Assistance Council Full time

The Executive / Senior Executive provides casework support to low-income families and individuals in improving their resources and ability to cope with their challenges. He/She manages the mentoring and tutoring programme, which supports upper primary/lower secondary school students who are academically weaker, and work closely with volunteers who contribute in it. He/She also works with stakeholders, such as volunteers, partners and vendors, in programme planning, implementation and evaluation. Key Job Duties Case Management Assess and recommend appropriate financial assistance and other forms of support to families and individuals. Support and monitor families’ progress in improving their resources and ability to cope with their challenges. Mentoring and Tutoring Programme Manage the operation of the programme. Manage volunteers to develop and empower them to contribute to the programme. Organise activities to develop the students and strengthen family bonds. Requirements Minimum Degree, preferably in Social Sciences. Has passion to work with low-income families, students and volunteers. Good interpersonal and communication skills, with a service-oriented attitude. Strong organising skills with the ability to work in teams and independently. Ability to converse in English, Mandarin and preferably a dialect to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients. Willing to work on Saturday. Caring, responsible and resilient.
