Product Industrialization Specialist

The Product Industrialization Specialist is responsible for providing technical support to production operations and advocating industrial engineering best practices.

  • Provide technical assistance to production operations for product engineering competencies and promote industrial engineering best practices with the support of a multi-functional team.
  • Responsible for overall product performance, new product introduction, and equipment capabilities.
  • Drive product evolution and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams on product roadmaps.
  • Function as the main interface to customers and be responsible for all quality issues related to assigned products. Drive actions with internal and external parties to reduce first-fit rejections.
  • Accountable for performing root cause analysis of all quality and process issues using 8D analysis (FTQP) and driving proactive objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage product definition files and configurations.
  • Oversee product evolution and actively participate in cross-functional teams.
  • Innovate, improve, implement, evaluate, and sustain engineering processes and capabilities.
  • Advocate engineering best practices supported by multi-functional teams and production to improve work processes and achieve optimal operational efficiencies.
  • Focus on product cost, particularly Design Authority Fee.
  • Improve internal technical competency, reducing dependence on DA and minimizing non-quality costs.
  • Continuously improve R1 and FPY rates, contributing to reduced non-quality costs.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Aerospace/Aeronautical/Electrical/Mecharonics Engineering or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience in technical support functions.
  • Experience in the aviation industry will be an added advantage.
  • Competence in interactive communication, problem-solving, and decision-making are required.
  • Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
