Join us as a Senior Quality EngineerWe are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Senior Quality Engineer to help drive the automation testing efforts in our dynamic and innovative team. As a Senior Quality Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality software products by developing and maintaining robust and scalable automation frameworks. Your expertise in automation testing methodologies, tools, and best practices will be instrumental in identifying opportunities for test automation, continuous improvement, and optimizing our QA processes. Your Impact Test Planning and Execution: Collaborate with development and product teams to understand requirements and design comprehensive test plans covering front-end interfaces, APIs, and webhooks. Testing Front-end testing: Conduct extensive testing of front-end interfaces to ensure user interface (UI) responsiveness, functionality, and compatibility across browsers and devices. Validate user interactions, UI elements, and overall user experience. API, Webhooks testing: Conduct thorough testing of RESTful APIs, ensuring data accuracy, request/response validation, and adherence to industry standards. Performance and Scalability Testing: Evaluate the performance and scalability of Web applications, APIs, and webhooks under various conditions. Regression Testing: Perform regression testing to validate the impact of new features on existing web applications, API, and webhook functionalities. Automation Development: Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts for front-end interfaces, API, and webhook testing, utilizing industry-standard tools and frameworks such as Postman, RestAssured, or similar. Collaboration And Communication Work closely with developers, product managers, and QA team members to address issues, provide feedback, and contribute to the overall quality of software releases. Identify, document, and prioritise defects, working closely with development teams for timely resolution. Perform root cause analysis and contribute to the improvement of development processes. Who You Are Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Engineer with a focus on front-end applications, API, and webhook testing Strong expertise in front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and frameworks (React, Angular, Vue)Strong understanding of RESTful API principles, webhooks, and data interchange formats (JSON, XML)Proficiency in scripting languages such as JavaScript, Python, or similar for test automation Hands-on experience with API testing tools (Postman, RestAssured) and version control systems Familiarity with continuous integration tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI) and containerization technologies (Docker)Strong alignment with Ascenda's core values of growth mindset, hands-on ownership, supportive collaboration and radical simplicity Why Join Ascenda?Ascenda offers the unique opportunity to lead in the fintech innovation space, shaping the future of rewards program.
