Job Title: Technical Support Specialist

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Technical Support Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT and excellent problem-solving skills.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support to end-users via phone, email, and in-person. This will involve troubleshooting and resolving hardware, software, and network-related issues.

The role requires the ability to install and configure software and hardware, perform system upgrades and patch installations, and maintain an accurate inventory of all hardware and software.

The Technical Support Specialist will also assist with the development and implementation of IT policies and procedures, collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement IT solutions, and provide training and support to end-users on new technology.

Maintaining the IT helpdesk system and ensuring timely resolution of support tickets is a critical aspect of this role. Continuous monitoring and improvement of IT systems are also essential responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support to end-users via phone, email, and in-person

Requirements

  • Diploma / Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • 2 – 4 years of relevant work experience in IT Support role
