About the Role The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing and coordinating comprehensive crisis management strategies across Business Continuity Management and Civil Emergency portfolios to ensure organisational resilience and operational readiness. This position reports to Manager, Crisis Planning and Operations. This role works closely with the Manager and leads collaboratively as part of a team to drive institutional preparedness by establishing robust emergency response frameworks, managing business continuity capabilities, and coordinating multi-agency responses during crisis situations. The incumbent ensures compliance with relevant crisis management standards whilst driving a proactive crisis preparedness culture through strategic planning, stakeholder engagement, training programme delivery, and continuous improvement activities. Some of the Key Responsibilities Include Lead the development and implementation of business continuity strategies, plans, and exercises to mitigate risks and ensure operational continuity during unexpected events Plan, coordinate and manage responses to civil emergencies including public health incidents, disease outbreaks and other crisis situations Liaise with government agencies, emergency services and external partners for coordinated multi-agency responses Conduct business impact assessments and risk analyses to identify critical functions and vulnerabilities Develop and oversee emergency response protocols, standard operating procedures and communication plans Lead coordination of engagements with internal and external stakeholders to align on emergency preparedness initiatives Drive continuous improvement initiatives in Business Continuity Management Systems and Civil Emergency management Prepare and present management reports, proposals, and papers on crisis management matters Track, analyze, and report key performance indicators related to business continuity and emergency preparedness Provide secretariat support to various hospital and cluster meetings Any other duties as assigned by supervisor Job Requirements Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Management, Public Administration, Occupational Safety or any related field At least 2-4 years working experience in healthcare, risk management, business continuity, safety, or crisis planning role Professional certification in Business Continuity Management (e.g., CBCP, MBCI) is preferred Prior experience in business continuity or emergency planning in an acute healthcare setting is preferred Strong knowledge of business continuity, risk assessments, and incident management Excellent problem-solving and crisis management skills Strong communication and stakeholder engagement abilities Ability to train and coordinate trainings with multiple stakeholders Decision making capabilities under pressure with sound judgement Team player with strong collaborative skills and ability to work independently Willing to be activated during emergencies or drills (including occasional after-hours duty)Proficient in Microsoft Office applications #J-18808-Ljbffr
