Job Title: Senior Community Outreach Officer

Overview

The role of the Senior Community Outreach Officer is to support our centre in implementing active ageing programmes and providing befriending services to seniors. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in eldercare, healthcare or social service and possess excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with conducting and evaluating active ageing programmes within and outside the centre.
  • Provide befriending and buddying services to frail and vulnerable elderly at their homes.
  • Conduct community outreach and need assessments to identify elderly who require assistance.
  • Refer eligible elderly to help services as needed.
  • Perform administrative duties such as data collection and reporting.

Requirements

  • Minimum Diploma Holder.
  • Experience in eldercare, healthcare or social service preferred.
  • Ability to communicate in dialects (e.g., Hokkien) and simple Malay desirable.
