Asia Pacific – Regional Regulatory Affairs & Quality Management Manager Shiseido is looking for an experienced professional to lead Regulatory Affairs & Quality Management across the Asia Pacific region. This role involves developing strategies, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting product innovation. Key Responsibilities Develop strategies and plans to ensure regulatory compliance of all brands across the APAC region. Ensure accurate and timely preparation of cosmetic product documents for local affiliates and distributors for product notification/registration. Check the correctness of documents received from HQ; verify local and regional regulations. Update ingredient restriction database according to regulatory amendments. Respond to regulatory correspondence from local affiliates and distributors. Provide regulatory advice for APAC advertisement and claim compliance. Maintain awareness of evolving regulations and conduct impact assessments. Support product innovation through regulatory intelligence and timely surveys. Collaborate with local affiliates and distributors on regulatory and quality inquiries from authorities, consumers, retailers, and other stakeholders. Support the regional quality team in managing quality control and process improvement. Requirements Bachelor's degree in a relevant science discipline from a recognized tertiary institution. At least 8 years of experience in regulatory affairs, with a minimum of 3 years in the cosmetic/beauty industry. Experience in Quality Management is an advantage. Knowledge of ingredients, formulation, and safety science. Strong analytical, issue‐management, and communication skills. Proactive, organized, and able to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
