Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled professional to fill the role of Structural Engineer. This position requires strong technical knowledge and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

  • Develop detailed estimates and plans for project implementation, ensuring timely completion and quality standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of materials and equipment, facilitating efficient management and resource allocation.
  • Collaborate with project leads and superintendents to identify and resolve issues, maintaining project schedules and progress.
  • Expedite site fabrication and installation works, working closely with sub-contractor teams to achieve targeted milestones.
  • Prepare and submit regular project progress reports, outlining tasks completed and those planned for future execution.
  • Coordinate with QA/QC teams to ensure adherence to project quality standards, resolving any issues or discrepancies that may arise.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders, providing updates on project status and addressing any concerns or questions they may have.
Requirements
  • Hold a degree or diploma in Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in marine/shipyard operations, involving structure fabrication and installation.
  • Demonstrate ability to resolve production-related issues due to engineering or site clashes.
  • Proven track record of effective material management, ensuring proper storage and minimizing waste.
  • Strong understanding of resource planning and management principles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling collaboration with various stakeholders and trades.
  • Computer literacy, particularly in MS Excel for data analysis and reporting.

Bachelor's Degree in Marine or Offshore Engineering or equivalent license required. Minimum 5 years of relevant experience necessary. Strong problem-solving skills and good inter-personal communication needed.
