Job Title: Structural Fabrication Specialist">

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Structural Fabrication Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our project delivery team, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful execution of structural fabrication projects from conception to completion.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in marine/shipyard operations, with a minimum of 5 years' experience in structure fabrication and installation. You will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively coordinate site activities between different trades to achieve structural completion as per planned construction sequence.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and upkeep remnant material records for final reconciliation of materials
  • Coordinate with QA/QC in resolving issues and maintaining project quality standards
  • Expedite site fabrication and installation works with sub-contractor teams
  • Update and report project progress reports and plan for one-week ahead of activities
  • Consolidate and update information to PR coordinator for items like galvanizing, machining, etc.

Requirements:

  • Degree/Diploma in Engineering/Marine Offshore or equivalent
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in marine/shipyard operations involving structure fabrication and installation
  • Ability to resolve production-related issues due to engineering or site clashes
  • Monitor and control material management on-site to ensure proper storage and unnecessary wastage
  • Understanding resource planning and management
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
