Job Title: Resident Technical Officer

Job Summary:

Our team seeks a highly skilled and experienced Resident Technical Officer to oversee the execution of infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in civil and structural works, with excellent site supervision skills and the ability to work effectively with contractors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide on-site supervision for civil, structural, and miscellaneous works.
  • Liaise with contractors to ensure timely completion, high-quality work, and adherence to safety standards.
  • Ensure that all works are carried out in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and methods.
  • Coordinate with relevant authorities and local communities to facilitate smooth project execution.
  • Monitor and report on project progress, highlighting areas for improvement.

Requirements:

  • Registered with IES/ACES, with a minimum of 5 years of relevant working experience in civil and structural works.
  • Proven expertise in BCA regulations, with the ability to maintain accurate records and meet reporting requirements.
  • Degree or diploma in Civil and Structural Engineering or a related field, with experience in supervising civil and structural works.
  • Familiarity with major earthworks, roads, drainage works, PUB pipeline works, bus shelters, and associated works is advantageous.
  • Ability to travel and work at multiple sites is essential.
  • Must be a Singaporean/SPR citizen.
