What the role is:
Since Sept 2022, the Progressive Wage Model (PWM) was progressively expanded to more sectors as well as for certain occupations that cut across sectors. More lower-wage workers were uplifted as a result. As part of the Progressive Wage team, you will support the team's regulatory functions and operations to implement the PWM requirements and Local Qualifying Salaries (LQS) policies.
What you will be working on:
- Investigate complaints related to PWM and LQS policies
- Plan and conduct audits to ensure compliance with PWM and LQS requirements
- Liaise with PWM sectoral agencies, such as PLRD, NEA, etc., on case follow-up
- Assess case facts, evaluate situations, and make appropriate recommendations
- Handle complex public queries on guidelines and case-specific issues
What we are looking for:
- Relevant experience in enforcement or compliance work is advantageous
- Strong analytical and conceptual skills
- Good writing, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of analytical and visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, PowerPivot) is preferred
