What the role is: What you will be working on: Responsible for the overall planning, organisation, co‐ordination, and supervision of Hydrographic Survey. Ensure Singapore waters are adequately and accurately surveyed: Assure quality and certify results of hydrographic surveys (IHO Cat "A" in Hydrographic Surveying required for approval). Oversee regulation of hydrographic surveys in Singapore Waters Formulate and implement the department's policies, work plans and procedures, including: Training and career development Work plan Digitalisation and transformation ISO Quality management system Assist the Chief Hydrographer on formulating and implementing the division's policies, work plans and procedures. Participate in regional and international fora on hydrographic matters and safeguard Singapore's strategic maritime interests. Undertake project assignments as and when directed.
