Role Overview
A leading global digital assets platform is seeking a seasoned professional to head its OTC trading business in Singapore. This is a senior leadership role with full ownership of the desk’s growth, strategy, and client coverage, responsible for shaping how the OTC business scales across Asia and beyond.
Key Responsibilities
Business Leadership – Own the P&L of the Singapore OTC desk, define strategy, and execute growth plans aligned with global objectives.
Team Management – Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing OTC trading and sales team.
Regulatory & Compliance – Ensure strict adherence to MAS regulations and internal compliance standards; serve as the key contact point for regulators and auditors.
Client Coverage – Develop and maintain strong relationships with institutional clients, market makers, and liquidity providers to drive market share.
Trading Oversight – Supervise daily trading operations, including pricing, risk management, and settlements.
Collaboration – Partner closely with global OTC, Exchange, Risk, Product, and Compliance teams to deliver seamless cross-border solutions.
Market Insights – Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and regulatory changes; provide strategic input to senior management.
Qualifications
8+ years of experience in OTC trading (crypto or FX), with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
Deep knowledge of trading operations, risk management, and regulatory frameworks (MAS VASP/PSA experience preferred).
Proven record of building and managing teams, scaling business operations, and achieving revenue targets.
Strong network in institutional crypto or traditional financial markets.
Excellent communication skills in English; Mandarin proficiency is a plus.
Based in Singapore, with the ability to represent the firm to partners and regulators.
