Inventory Management Professional

The Inventory Manager will oversee the analysis and management of stock and purchase order related data to achieve optimized allocation. This includes generating and analyzing reports to support demand, forecast, and supply information, and making recommendations for improvements.

  • Manage stock and purchase order related data to achieve optimal inventory levels.
  • Develop and analyze reports to support demand, forecast, and supply planning.
  • Understand forecasting and replenishment processes, including concepts such as 'safety stocks' and 'working stocks,' to maintain a balance between overstock and out-of-stock.
  • Ensure smooth coordination with logistics providers, vendors, and warehouse staff.
  • Assist in daily operations and coordination with the logistics team.
  • Comply with safety and housekeeping requirements set by the organization.
  • Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to establish an efficient demand and supply process.
  • Manage stock orders and allocation to maintain healthy stock levels across stores within established KPIs.

Requirements

  • Minimum Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or equivalent.
  • At least 3 years of experience in commercial vehicle spare parts management or inventory control in the automotive industry.
  • Experience managing inventory control of thousands of line items is required.
