Responsibilities & Duties:
Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with project requirements and company goals.
Manage the end-to-end procurement process, including tendering, evaluation, negotiation, and awarding of contracts.
Liaise with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to understand material and service requirements.
Ensure compliance with government regulations, contract terms, and company policies.
Maintain and manage supplier and subcontractor relationships to ensure quality and timely delivery.
Monitor market trends and identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
Prepare and present procurement reports, budgets, and forecasts to senior management.
Resolve any issues or discrepancies related to procurement, including delivery delays, quality concerns, and contractual disputes.
Coordinate with the finance department to ensure timely payments and accurate financial reporting.
Lead and mentor the procurement team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
Other ad-hoc tasks as assigned.
Job Requirements & Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying / Construction Management / Civil Engineering or related fields.
At least 5-8 years of relevant experience in procurement of main contractor company, preferably in infrastructure projects.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills, analytical mindset, problem-solving abilities, as well as keen interest and motivation in a high growth and entrepreneurial environment.
A high level of integrity, dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results orientation.
Strong contract modeling and MS Office software skills.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
