Job Summary
The Assistant/Deputy Manager (Analytics and Artificial Intelligence) is someone who lives and breathes data. He/she is a "T" shaped professional, possessing IT-related skills, communication skills, and strategic thinking with a deep specialization in data analytics. He/she manages data analytics projects—from data collection to creating visualizations that deliver value to the business.
Job Responsibilities/Key Tasks (External)
The Assistant/Deputy Manager extracts and integrates data from various sources, develops advanced models and algorithms for business use cases, conducts testing on data and AI models, interprets testing results, and evaluates model performance for scaling and deployment. He/she develops clear and compelling communication materials to facilitate stakeholder buy-in.
He/she works in a team setting and is proficient in statistics, scripting, and programming languages required by the organization.
He/she possesses strong analytical and critical thinking skills to identify and solve complex problems. He/she is passionate about analyzing data and resolving business challenges, with intellectual curiosity about using data and AI. He/she is a data storyteller capable of influencing stakeholders and promoting a data-driven approach to business issues.
This is an individual contributor role. As a senior team member, he/she must interface effectively with top leadership and staff across all business units. He/she should also mentor junior members and bring positive energy to the team.
Job Requirements
Proficiency in programming languages like Python or R is preferred.
Familiarity with data manipulation, statistical analysis, and machine learning theories is preferred.
Knowledge of AI frameworks and tools is essential.
Professional Qualifications & Relevant Experience
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Economics, Mathematics, or Computer Science.
5-8 years of relevant work experience.
Singaporean only.
