About The Opportunity
As the Associate Director/Director of Business Operations , you will oversee the end-to-end operational processes of the overall business, ensuring scalability, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence. You will work closely with cross-functional teams—including Trading, Compliance, Finance, Product, and Customer Support—to streamline workflows, enhance performance, and drive business growth.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement scalable operational strategies to support rapid growth in a fast-moving crypto environment.
Optimize exchange operations, including trade execution, liquidity management, risk controls, and settlement processes.
Ensure seamless coordination between trading, compliance, finance, and customer support teams.
Identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies in business operations and implement process improvements.
Establish KPIs and performance metrics to measure operational success.
Leverage automation and technology to enhance operational workflows.
Work closely with Legal and Compliance teams to ensure adherence to global crypto regulations (AML/KYC, licensing, reporting).
Monitor regulatory changes and adapt operational policies accordingly.
Partner with the executive team to define and execute business expansion strategies.
Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and user behavior to identify growth opportunities.
Drive initiatives to improve user experience, liquidity, and platform stability.
Oversee risk management frameworks to mitigate operational, financial, and cybersecurity risks.
Ensure robust security protocols are in place to safeguard user funds and data.
Requirements
8+ years of experience in business operations or a related field in fintech or financial services firms, with experience in crypto exchange is a strong plus.
Deep understanding of cryptocurrency trading, blockchain technology, and exchange operations.
Proven track record in scaling operations, process optimization, and driving efficiency.
Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance (AML/KYC, MiCA, FATF guidelines, etc.).Experience with liquidity management, risk controls, and trading infrastructure.Exceptional leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

Knowledge of blockchain technology, cryptocurrency protocols
Strong understanding of emerging compliance and regulatory trends in the global crypto ecosystem
Willingness to travel internationally to engage with regulatory bodies and industry groups
