The Role
We are looking for an experienced Head of Secondary to lead our secondary-level English programmes. This is a strategic teaching role that combines classroom excellence with curriculum development and team mentorship.
Responsibilities
- Set the curriculum direction for Secondary English, ensuring alignment with MOE requirements and the school's vision.
- Deliver engaging, high-quality lessons that inspire students to achieve their fullest potential.
- Mentor and guide junior teachers, providing pedagogical support and training where needed.
- Collaborate with the leadership team on programme innovation and assessment strategies.
- Monitor student progress and implement strategies to support diverse learning needs.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in English, Education, or related field (Postgraduate Diploma in Education preferred).
- Strong teaching experience at secondary level, ideally with curriculum leadership or HOD experience.
- Passion for nurturing young minds and building a collaborative teaching culture.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
