Senior Mechanical Project Specialist

Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Mechanical Project Specialist to join our team. This role will be responsible for leading and coordinating cross-functional teams, including project management, discipline engineers, consultants, contractors, and vendors.
Main Responsibilities:
- Review project requirements, contractor specifications, and drawings in liaison with the project team.
- Develop and implement project execution plans, resources allocation, and management, and risk management strategies.
- Provide an on-site engineering service between contractors and internal project teams to maintain control of construction, including site safety, supervision, and safe work permit coordination.
- Investigate variation orders and make recommendations for resolution.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Experience in project engineering roles, preferably in a mechanical engineering discipline of EPC of chemical process plants is an advantage.
- Proven track record of successfully managing projects from detail engineering, construction, commissioning, start-up, and completion hand-over.
- Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles, codes (ASME/ API/ TEMA), and standards (local – Singapore Standard Code of Practice & international).
