Job Title: Procurement Manager for Fresh Produce

A reputable company seeks a skilled Procurement Manager to oversee the sourcing and purchasing of fresh produce. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing supplier relationships, negotiating prices, and ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Sourcing and procurement of fresh produce from suppliers, including fruits and vegetables

  • Negotiating prices and terms with suppliers to ensure best value for the company

  • Managing supplier performance and resolving any issues or claims

  • Ensuring product quality and freshness, adhering to food safety standards and regulations

  • Planning and coordinating logistics and storage to minimize spoilage and stock issues

  • Controlling costs through analysis and bulk purchasing

  • Ensuring all procurement activities comply with company policies and regulations

Requirements:

  • Strong negotiation and communication skills

  • Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office and other software applications

  • Knowledge of food safety and quality control practices

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills

  • Experience in procurement or a related field
