Job Title: Fresh Produce Import Manager

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead our daily import operations of fresh produce. Our ideal candidate will oversee the management of daily import schedules, ensuring timely delivery and maintaining quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Negotiate contracts with suppliers and logistics partners to secure competitive pricing while maintaining product quality.
  • Monitor shipping schedules to ensure compliance with customs clearance and trade regulations.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and cold storage facilities to ensure proper handling of perishable products.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, shipping agents, and regulatory bodies.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in fresh produce import/export, procurement, or supply chain management.
  • Strong knowledge of international trade regulations, customs procedures, and documentation.
  • Experience in sourcing and supplier management, preferably in the fresh produce sector.
  • Ability to work in cold room environments as required by the nature of the business.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and trade-related systems/software.
