Overview
Our client in the
financial services industry
is looking for a
Linux System Integrator (Consultant)
to support large-scale
system migration and integration projects
across Asia. This is an exciting opportunity to work on
high-performance electronic trading systems
and collaborate with regional teams.
It's a one-year contract with a possibility of extension.
What You’ll Do
Plan and carry out
system migration and integration
under Linux/Unix.
Work with cross-functional teams (systems, hardware, project managers).
Test and validate systems after migration.
Troubleshoot and fix issues during/after migration.
Ensure project timelines and milestones are met.
What You’ll Need
Strong
Unix/Linux system experience
(administration, troubleshooting, monitoring).
Proficiency in
Python or Shell scripting .
Strong communication skills and problem-solving mindset.
Degree in Computer Science or related field.
Nice to Have
Experience with
large-scale system migrations .
Exposure to
financial systems .
Knowledge of
C++/Java, SQL, networking (TCP/IP, UDP, multicast) .
