Biomedical Equipment Specialist

This key position is responsible for the day-to-day operation and maintenance of biomedical equipment in our hospital.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a high level of expertise in biomedical equipment to ensure smooth operation.
  • Collaborate with the BME Manager to perform routine maintenance activities.
  • Provide administrative support for the maintenance aspect of biomedical equipment.
  • Analyze work orders to determine necessary follow-up actions.
  • Contribute to commissioning new medical equipment and ensuring calibration of BME test equipment.
  • Coordinate preventive maintenance according to schedule.
  • Assist in preparing quotations for repair of biomedical equipment and procurement of spare parts.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electrical, Electronic Engineering, or related field preferred.
  • At least 1-2 years of experience in healthcare or medical electronics industry.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including initiative, agility, and perseverance.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Basic computer hardware and network knowledge.
