This role involves providing expert technical assistance to healthcare professionals in the setup, operation, maintenance and decommissioning of medical equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintenance and Support
  • Oversee external contractors carrying out equipment maintenance ensuring work quality and adherence to industry standards.
  • Gather user feedback on the performance and quality of medical devices.
  • Inspect, analyze and troubleshoot reported faults and issues, supporting engineers in developing corrective actions.
  • Evaluate all maintenance work against required standards and quality initiatives.
  • Manage spare parts inventory, assisting with documentation when needed.
  • Support engineers in coordinating medical equipment projects with vendors and consultants.

Requirements:

  • A Diploma in Electronics or Biomedical Engineering is essential.
  • 3 to 5 years of practical experience in a healthcare environment is advantageous.
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to work at all levels.
  • Brief training in IT applications is required.
