Medical Equipment Specialist

Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Medical Equipment Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our department, you will be responsible for providing exceptional support to stakeholders and external customers.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough inspections on returned medical equipment to ensure it meets quality standards.
  • Perform in-house assessments and troubleshoot medical equipment sent in for repair.
  • Detailed investigations for complaints on medical equipment and prepare reports as required.
  • Quality checks on medical equipment after repair.
  • Train interns on job scope handling, inspection practices, and company induction.
  • On-job medical equipment assessment, repair, and quality assurance checks for engineers.
  • Maintain 5s housekeeping standards, including organizing and cleaning procedures.
  • A customer-centric approach is essential.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or ITE in Engineering/Biomedical Engineering.
  • Familiarity with ESA & ESU testers, electrical, mechanical, and soldering skills.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Positive attitude, detail-oriented, organized, and able to prioritize tasks.
  • Fast response attention to details, strict, steady hands, and keen eyes to handle delicate components.
