Job Title: Senior Network Operations Manager

As a senior network operations manager, you will be responsible for the overall management and maintenance of our SD-WAN platforms. This includes incident management, configuration changes, security governance, and performance reporting. You will also contribute to the design and implementation of new platform products and services. Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain regular preventive maintenance on the SD-WAN Platform Operations
  • Support the expansion, upgrades, and roll-outs of new network and systems infrastructure involving hardware such as routers, switches, firewalls, virtual appliances, VNFs, network monitoring and management systems
  • Support engineering teams on new product/feature implementation, node deployment, and technical support matters
  • Troubleshoot and resolve faults/issues within the SD-WAN platforms services in a timely manner
  • Analyze SD-WAN platforms performance and take proactive actions and preventive measures to monitor and enhance the network performance including software and hardware upgrades
  • Prepare statistical reports on network and equipment performance
  • Analyze financial information (e.g. revenues, expenditures, and cash management) to ensure all operations are within budget
  • Present annual budgets to management
  • Negotiate with vendors to prepare cost analysis and justifications
  • Perform SD-WAN platforms performance analysis
  • Engage with Engineering teams and recommend courses of action to prevent incidents that may be caused by performance issues
  • Archive prepared reports for future reference of job performance
  • Review financial documents in preparation for the next cycle
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronic/Computer Engineering/Computer Science/Information Systems
  • 10 years minimum of IP network experience with 3-5 years experience with systems operations, DevOps, or cloud operations
  • Expertise with routers and switches installation (e.g. Cisco, Juniper, Mellanox, Dell SONiC)
  • Expertise with SD-WAN technologies (e.g. Cisco SD-WAN, VMware VeloCloud SD-WAN, HPE Aruba SilverPeak SD-WAN, Fortinet SD-WAN, FortiSASE)
  • Good understanding of Internet routing protocols and technologies (e.g. TCP/IP, BGP, MPLS/VPN)
  • Knowledge of routers/switches architecture and software upgrade procedure
  • Good analytical and trouble-shooting skills in the area of technical fault isolation and rectification
  • Knowledge of hypervisors (e.g. eSXI, Adva, proxmox, KVM)
  • Knowledge of Kubernetes, OpenStack, and other cloud automation tools
  • PowerBI experience and ServiceNow reporting tools background is a plus
