Mechanical Works Package Manager (Contract)
Vita Partners is Asia-Pacific’s largest pan-regional pure-play life science, innovation and R&D real estate platform. The company operates within two main segments – a high-barrier-to-entry life sciences project construction management business and a specialized investment management business.
Job Role
The Mechanical Works Package Manager will lead the execution of mechanical works including HVAC, piping, process utilities, and equipment installation.
Manage the full lifecycle of the mechanical work package—from design coordination through to commissioning and handover.
Ensure alignment with project goals, contractual obligations, and client expectations.
Responsibilities:
Interface with civil, electrical, architectural, and commissioning teams to ensure seamless integration.
Supervise subcontractors and ensure adherence to safety, quality, and environmental standards.
Conduct regular site inspections and monitor progress against schedule.
Technical Oversight
Review and approve technical documentation including drawings, datasheets, method statements, and installation procedures.
Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and regulatory requirements.
Support resolution of technical issues and manage non-conformances (NCRs).
About You
Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
7+ years of experience in mechanical construction, with at least 3 years in a package management or supervisory role.
Proven track record in delivering mechanical systems for industrial, pharmaceutical, or high-tech facilities.
Strong understanding of mechanical codes, GMP standards (if pharma-related), and safety regulations.
Excellent leadership, coordination, and communication skills.
Proficiency in project management tools and engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, MS Project).
