HR Generalist Job Opportunity

A dynamic and flexible HR Generalist role has become available in a boutique HR and business consulting firm. The successful candidate will support a wide range of HR functions, including employee lifecycle management, policy compliance, payroll and benefits administration, performance and engagement, recruitment and talent support, and general HR advisory.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone with solid HR experience who wants to work on meaningful projects across multiple industries while enjoying flexible working hours.

About the Role

  • Employee Lifecycle Management:
    • Support end-to-end HR processes: onboarding, offboarding, and employee documentation.
    • Maintain and update employee records in HR systems (e.g., EmploymentHero, Carbonate, etc.).
  • Policy & Compliance:
    • Assist in drafting and reviewing HR policies to ensure compliance with Singapore employment laws.
    • Support HR audits and risk assessments.
  • Payroll & Benefits Administration:
    • Collate and verify monthly payroll data.
    • Assist with employee benefits administration (leave, insurance, claims, reimbursements).
  • Performance & Engagement:
    • Support performance management processes (KPI tracking, review cycles, feedback sessions).
    • Assist with employee engagement initiatives and culture-building activities.
  • Recruitment & Talent Support:
    • Post job ads, screen resumes, and schedule interviews.
    • Coordinate with clients on hiring needs and candidate communications.
  • General HR Support:
    • Provide day-to-day HR advisory to internal and client-facing teams.
    • Assist consultants on HR-as-a-Service (HaaS) projects and client deliverables.

Requirements

  • Diploma/Degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field.
  • 2–4 years of HR generalist experience in Singapore (agency or in-house).
  • Strong knowledge of Singapore Employment Act and HR best practices.
  • Hands-on experience with HRIS and payroll systems preferred.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Able to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and deliver within deadlines.
  • Open-minded, adaptable, and comfortable working with startups and SMEs.
