Job Description

  • Direct and guide Housekeeping staff to ensure all guest bedrooms, bathrooms, and hotel corridors are maintained at the highest standard of cleanliness and tidiness for the safety and comfort of guests.
  • Act as an advocate on safe work practices in the workplace by ensuring that housekeeping employees follow established regulations when using equipment and supplies.
  • Ensure compliance with policies, guidelines, work processes, and standard operating procedures by providing guidance to junior staff and new hires.
  • Organize, prioritize, and delegate work assignments to ensure efficient room turnover.
  • Conduct daily briefings with employees and maintain effective communication within the department.
  • Ensure lost items are handed over immediately according to SOP.
  • Ensure floor pantries are equipped with adequate supplies.
  • Maintain high motivation levels among housekeeping employees to foster a cohesive team.
  • Conduct twice-daily inspections of Room Attendant equipment and cleaning machinery.
  • Conduct room checks using the room inspection checklist.
  • Inspect rooms and corridors, and report maintenance issues to the Housekeeper.

  • Direct and supervise Housekeeping staff.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and tidiness.
  • Report maintenance issues promptly.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality or related field.
  • Minimum 1 year experience in Housekeeping management.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
