Job Title: Commercial Growth Strategist

As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in driving business expansion by fostering strategic partnerships and executing growth plans. Your responsibilities will include conducting market analysis, identifying new business prospects, and developing strategic alliances.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive business growth strategy that supports the expansion of our shipping and maritime business
  • Lead the identification, evaluation, and pursuit of new business opportunities, including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and partnerships
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders, including shipping industry leaders and regulatory agencies
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement business growth plans that support the shipping business objectives
  • Develop and execute strategies to enhance our market position and ensure our competitive edge in the industry
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive threats within the shipping industry
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our businesses, including our products, services, and customer base
  • Provide regular reporting to senior leadership on business growth activities and revenue performance
  • Stay up-to-date on shipping industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to ensure we remain competitive and innovative

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in management, shipping, business, or marketing related field
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively present to senior leadership, clients, and stakeholders
  • Strong strategic thinking and planning skills, with the ability to develop and execute effective business growth plans within the shipping industry
