Role Overview:
As a technology manager in the Farm Technology department, you will be leading a team to support all technological aspects of the consultancy, design, build and operations and urban farms. You will be collaborating with Archians in sales, project management, farm management and research & technology to deliver impactful agricultural solutions to our clients and partners.
Responsibilities:
  • Support all technological aspects on the design, build and operations of farms. Provide ground support at all stages of our solutions.
  • Develop proposals for the deployment of farm solutions.
  • Design and conduct experiments to test ideas and solutions.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve the performance of farms and farming operations.
  • Manage a team of technologists, including farm engineers and agronomists.
  • Evaluate and build relationships with suppliers.
  • Provide advice and consultation for clients.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Science, Engineering, or any other relevant discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a technical role, preferably within the agriculture industry.
  • Proven experience in leading technical teams.
  • Strong ability to integrate knowledge across multiple domains to create practical solutions.
  • Proficient in scientific and engineering skills such as literature review, hypothesis formulation, experimental design, and data analysis.
  • Ability to understand and internalise technical knowledge.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
