Assistant Project Manager / Project Manager
This position requires all-round professional ability and self-motivation. You will be required to manage EPCM / Data Center projects as Project Manager.
You will be responsible for project performance in terms of HSE, schedule, design, scope quality, stakeholders, process, risk, project administration and cost.
You will be required to perform duties diligently to the quality standards set by the Company and conform to the Company's policies and business systems.
Responsibilities:
Project execution and administration using established work processes and company quality management systems.
Leading interactive planning sessions and establishing project schedules.
Risk identification and establishing project risk register.
Liaising with the client and stakeholders to ensure all client requirements are met.
Managing all employees under your report to ensure efficiency and task completion.
Assist in procurement/contract administration activities.
Estimation, review and tracking of cost movements for design change proposals.
Progress claims assessment and certification.
Variation forecasting, assessment, negotiation and reporting.
Contract final account preparation and negotiation.
Ensure factual correctness and quality standards are maintained in all documents.
Working with contractors, facility management, and other stakeholders.
Applying quality management principles and processes.
Chair and attend meetings as required.
Monitoring and keeping records of all Health and Safety activities.
Reviewing and recommending staff levels for accreditation purposes.
Contract administration and issuing work instructions.
Preparing and reviewing variation orders.
Conducting site inspections to verify quantities of work completed.
Conducting joint inspections with contractors and stakeholders.
Carrying out assigned Engineering Service Desk (ESD) duties.
Completing dismantling, demobilization and close out activities.
Requirements:
Minimum of 10 years in EPCM / Data Center. Less experience for Assistant PM role.
Contract administration experience preferred.
Ability to work unsupervised.
Attention to detail and initiative in developing new ideas.
Problem identification and solution formulation skills.
Strong analytical, research, and negotiation skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Sound literacy in Microsoft Office.
Flexibility to work with different areas of the business.
Punctuality with attendance and task delivery.
Accreditation by professional bodies such as PMP, RICS, CIOB is recommended.
