The role Cheval Group Private Limited is looking for an experienced Sous Chef to join our team in the Changi East Region. As Sous Chef, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Head Chef in the overall management and execution of the kitchen operations. This is a full-time position. What you\'ll be doing Assist the Head Chef in the overall management and supervision of the kitchen staff and operations Contribute to the development and implementation of new menu items, ensuring they meet established quality and presentation standards Oversee the preparation, cooking and presentation of all dishes, maintaining high levels of food quality and consistency Monitor and maintain stock levels, placing orders for ingredients as needed Ensure the kitchen operates in compliance with all relevant health, safety and hygiene regulations Train, mentor and provide feedback to kitchen staff to develop their skills and expertise Support the management of the kitchen budget and costs What we\'re looking for At least 3 years of experience as a Sous Chef or in a similar senior culinary role within a reputable restaurant or bar kitchen Strong technical cooking skills and an extensive knowledge of a wide range of cuisines and cooking techniques Excellent leadership and team management abilities, with the ability to motivate and develop kitchen staff Proven track record of contributing to the development and implementation of successful menu offerings Proficient in inventory management and cost control A passion for creating exceptional dining experiences and a commitment to maintaining high standards of food quality and presentation Strong attention to detail and the ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment What we offer At Cheval Group, we are committed to providing our employees with a rewarding and fulfilling work experience.
