Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled professional to fill the role of Senior Research Coordinator. This position will involve coordinating research grant applications, managing research funds, and building a strong research office.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage all aspects of research grant applications, ensuring they are complete and compliant with guidelines and requirements.
  • Assist in the management of research funds, advising on budgeting and collating grant-related reports.
  • Build and maintain a productive research office environment, facilitating collaboration among clinicians and researchers.
  • Provide administrative support for research-related matters within the organization.
  • Nurture relationships with internal and external partners, promoting collaborative research initiatives.
  • Organize workshops, seminars, and conferences related to surgery and healthcare research.

Requirements

  • Strong academic background, preferably in science, engineering, or health sciences.
  • Familiarity with research administration and/or academia is preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
