Job Title: Senior Research Coordinator

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Senior Research Coordinator, where you will play a key role in supporting the research office and facilitating ACP-Surgery clinicians' research.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in research administration, excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, and the ability to work independently. You will be responsible for co-ordinating and managing research grant applications, budgeting for grant applications, and collating and submitting grant-related reports.

In addition, you will build a strong research office to facilitate ACP-Surgery clinicians' research, act as a key admin resource for all research matters within ACP Surgery, and support strong relationships and partnerships with key internal and external partners.

You will also co-ordinate, manage and support workshops, seminars and conferences organised/sponsored by Surgery ACP, and perform other ad hoc duties as assigned.

Requirements:
  • A degree in science, engineering or health sciences is preferred;
  • Familiarity with research, either as an investigator or administrator, is preferred;
  • Familiarity with an academic healthcare setting is advantageous;
  • Excellent interpersonal, organisational and communication skills are required;
  • A good team player who can work independently is essential;
