Responsibilities You will oversee design management for major civil infrastructure projects, ensuring technical excellence, constructability, and compliance with local standards. Ensure design outputs comply with regulations, safety standards, and engineering codes. Evaluate tender documents, drawings, and specifications for feasibility, risks, and constructability. Develop and review construction methodologies and technical proposals to enhance bid competitiveness. Oversee method statements and technical submissions for regulatory compliance. Provide leadership in the design of roadworks, drainage, earthworks, and related civil works. Approve and sign off design deliverables with focus on constructability and value engineering. Coordinate across QS, planning, BIM, and procurement teams to align technical strategies. Engage subcontractors and suppliers to evaluate alternative solutions and drive design efficiencies. Conduct site visits and feasibility studies to assess project constraints and identify risks. Supervise the integration of BIM and planning tools (Civil 3D, Primavera, MS Project). Review and approve technical submissions, C&S shop drawings, and material selections. Represent the design team in meetings with clients, consultants, and suppliers. Ensure design compliance with Singapore codes and international best practices. Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, recognised by the Professional Engineers Board (Singapore). 10 years' experience in civil infrastructure design. Knowledge of Singapore's design codes, regulatory requirements, and industry standards. Track record in large-scale civil/infrastructure projects, ideally with LTA projects experiences.
