Manager, Taste Application

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Application Manager to join our team, focusing on the development of instant noodles seasoning. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience in savory product development and will possess a strong understanding of savory flavor applications. The Application Manager should also be familiar with product development, from concept to industrization. The successful candidate will be part of a team that embraces creativity, open-mindedness, and a systematic approach to problem-solving.
The location of this role is based in Singapore and we welcome overseas candidates to apply.

Your key responsibilities
Lead the development and formulation of seasoning blends for instant noodles, ensuring alignment with client requirements and market trends
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including R&D, marketing, and production to bring innovative and high-quality seasoning solutions to the market
Conduct sensory evaluations and product testing to ensure seasoning blends meet desired taste profiles and quality standards
Stay updated on industry trends and consumer preferences to drive innovation and competitiveness in the product line
Provide technical support and expertise to clients, addressing any challenges or concerns related to seasoning applications
Maintain detailed documentation of formulations, processes, and testing results for all product development projects
You bring
Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Culinary Arts, Chemistry, or a related field
Minimum of 10 years of experience in savory product development. At least 5 years in R&D or application or relevant in instant noodles industry experience is preferred
Strong understanding of savory flavors, ingredients, materials, process, and their application in instant noodles
Proven track record of developing successful seasoning formulations
Experience with sensory evaluation and flavor profiling
Ability to think outside the box and bring new ideas to seasoning formulations
