Job Opportunity: Private Speech Therapist/Language Therapist
We are seeking a skilled Freelance Private Speech Therapist/Language Therapist to provide high-quality, one-on-one therapy sessions to children in Singapore.
- Conduct thorough assessments to identify speech and language disorders in children.
- Develop and implement individualised therapy plans tailored to each child's specific communication needs and goals.
- Provide focused one-on-one therapy sessions concentrating on enhancing speech clarity, language skills, social communication, and addressing swallowing difficulties as required.
- Utilise evidence-based practices and therapeutic techniques to foster effective communication skills in a fun and engaging manner.
- Collaborate closely with families, caregivers, and other professionals to ensure seamless support and integration of therapeutic strategies into the child's daily life.
- Maintain meticulous documentation of each child's progress, adapting therapy plans as necessary to meet evolving needs.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in communication development and disorders, along with expertise in evidence-based intervention strategies. They will also demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, coupled with a compassionate approach to working with children and their families.
- A recognised degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
- Valid registration with the Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC) in Singapore.
