Child Psychologist Role

We are seeking a skilled Freelance Private Psychologist/Counsellor to join our mental health community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop comprehensive assessment strategies to identify areas of need in children.
  • Create and implement tailored treatment plans based on assessment findings, ensuring consistency and effectiveness.
  • Deliver one-on-one counselling or therapy sessions using evidence-based techniques, prioritising the emotional well-being of clients.

  • Maintain accurate documentation of progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to optimise outcomes.

Requirements:

  • A recognised degree in Psychology, Counselling, or a related field is essential.
  • Valid registration with the relevant professional body is mandatory.
  • Previous experience working with children in a therapeutic or counselling context is highly desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of child development, mental health issues, and therapeutic techniques is crucial for success in this role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are vital for effective collaboration and client engagement.
