Opportunity Overview

CORE ENGINEERING – DEVELOPER COLLABORATION

The Developer Collaboration team is leading the Atlassian products rollout at Goldman Sachs. The Atlassian Product Support Associate role involves managing the Atlassian toolset with a focus on a "human first, customer centric" approach. While primarily focused on Jira and Confluence, this role also incorporates customer success methodology, AWS technologies, Agile principles, and basic project management.

The team collaborates with stakeholders across global business units to drive initiatives that enhance end-user outcomes and customer experience. Responsibilities include translating user needs into product strategies, prioritizing efforts, and measuring success.

Atlassian Support Associates are key to creating transparency, collaboration, and value in our processes, working closely with product management and engineering teams to optimize the Atlassian suite's usage.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage configuration efforts and implement plugins and integrations such as Advanced Roadmaps, Automation for JIRA, JMWE, EazyBI, Zephyr, Gitlab, among others.
  • Create best practices and documentation for workflows and project customization.
  • Develop and coordinate Atlassian training programs.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of JIRA/Confluence administration experience.
  • Strong engineering background with understanding of Agile, Scrum, and Kanban frameworks.
  • Excellent problem-solving, process implementation, and communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented, motivated, independent, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in the financial industry is a plus.
